إِذۡ دَخَلُواْ عَلَيۡهِ فَقَالُواْ سَلَٰمٗا قَالَ إِنَّا مِنكُمۡ وَجِلُونَ
52. when they entered upon him, so they said: "Peace". (Abraham) said: "Indeed, we feel apprehensive of you [9]."
[9]. Since they came at a time when guests were not usually expected, he doubted their motives and wanted them to assure him of peace, which they promptly did.
