4 : 4

وَءَاتُواْ ٱلنِّسَآءَ صَدُقَٰتِهِنَّ نِحۡلَةٗۚ فَإِن طِبۡنَ لَكُمۡ عَن شَيۡءٖ مِّنۡهُ نَفۡسٗا فَكُلُوهُ هَنِيٓـٔٗا مَّرِيٓـٔٗا

4. Give the women their dowries [upon marriage] as a [bridal] gift. But if they remit to you a part of it willingly, you may then consume it with contentment and a clear conscience.
