وَمَرۡيَمَ ٱبۡنَتَ عِمۡرَٰنَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَحۡصَنَتۡ فَرۡجَهَا فَنَفَخۡنَا فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِنَا وَصَدَّقَتۡ بِكَلِمَٰتِ رَبِّهَا وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَكَانَتۡ مِنَ ٱلۡقَٰنِتِينَ
12. And Maryam [11], the daughter of Imran [12], who guarded her chastity, so We breathed into her (garment) through Our angel (Gabriel), and she believed in the Words of her Lord 'Allāh' and His books, and she was one of the devoutly obedient.
[11]. I.e., Mary.
[12]. Amram i.e., Joachim.
