Ajeti: 32

وَلَقَدِ ٱسۡتُهۡزِئَ بِرُسُلٖ مِّن قَبۡلِكَ فَأَمۡلَيۡتُ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ ثُمَّ أَخَذۡتُهُمۡۖ فَكَيۡفَ كَانَ عِقَابِ

32. Indeed (many) messengers (of God) before you were ridiculed, but I (Allah) gave respite to the deniers11, then I struck them; how then terrible was My punishment?

11. So that they would repent, but they did not.
