ٱللَّهُ وَلِيُّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يُخۡرِجُهُم مِّنَ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ إِلَى ٱلنُّورِۖ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَوۡلِيَآؤُهُمُ ٱلطَّٰغُوتُ يُخۡرِجُونَهُم مِّنَ ٱلنُّورِ إِلَى ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِۗ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلنَّارِۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَٰلِدُونَ
257. Allāh is the Guardian of the believers, He brings them out from the darknesses into the light. As for those who deny (the Truth), their guardians are the Taghut (i.e. false gods, idols, devils, etc) who take them out of the light into darknesses98. These are the inmates of the Fire, they will abide therein forever.
98. When the Qur’an talks about darknesses usually it is referring to a sinful path. Allāh is the light and Satan is in darknesses. Spiritually blind people are living in darknesses. They can’t understand the Qur’an or the Sunnah. They are blind and they can’t see that they’re on the path that leads to hell. We must all seek the light, which is only found in the Qur’an and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. We must all repent and trust in Allāh.The darkness can never overcome the light. The light leads to eternal life and the darkness leads to eternal damnation.
అరబీ భాషలోని ఖుర్ఆన్ వ్యాఖ్యానాలు:
أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِي حَآجَّ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ فِي رَبِّهِۦٓ أَنۡ ءَاتَىٰهُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلۡمُلۡكَ إِذۡ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ رَبِّيَ ٱلَّذِي يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُ قَالَ أَنَا۠ أُحۡيِۦ وَأُمِيتُۖ قَالَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأۡتِي بِٱلشَّمۡسِ مِنَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ فَأۡتِ بِهَا مِنَ ٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ فَبُهِتَ ٱلَّذِي كَفَرَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
258. Have you not considered him (Nimrud, the then ruler of Babylon) who disputed with Abraham about his Lord (Allāh), because Allāh had given him kingship? When Abraham said: "My Lord is He who gives life and causes death." His (opponent) said: "I also can give life and cause death." Abraham said: "Then indeed Allāh causes the sun to rise from the east; so make it rise from the west." So he who disbelieved was confounded. Allāh does not guide the unjust people.

أَوۡ كَٱلَّذِي مَرَّ عَلَىٰ قَرۡيَةٖ وَهِيَ خَاوِيَةٌ عَلَىٰ عُرُوشِهَا قَالَ أَنَّىٰ يُحۡيِۦ هَٰذِهِ ٱللَّهُ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَاۖ فَأَمَاتَهُ ٱللَّهُ مِاْئَةَ عَامٖ ثُمَّ بَعَثَهُۥۖ قَالَ كَمۡ لَبِثۡتَۖ قَالَ لَبِثۡتُ يَوۡمًا أَوۡ بَعۡضَ يَوۡمٖۖ قَالَ بَل لَّبِثۡتَ مِاْئَةَ عَامٖ فَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِكَ وَشَرَابِكَ لَمۡ يَتَسَنَّهۡۖ وَٱنظُرۡ إِلَىٰ حِمَارِكَ وَلِنَجۡعَلَكَ ءَايَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِۖ وَٱنظُرۡ إِلَى ٱلۡعِظَامِ كَيۡفَ نُنشِزُهَا ثُمَّ نَكۡسُوهَا لَحۡمٗاۚ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥ قَالَ أَعۡلَمُ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٞ
259. Or (consider) as he (Ezra) who passed by a town and it had fallen down upon its roofs; he said: "How will Allah bring this to life after its death?" So Allāh caused him to die for a hundred years, then raised him to life. (Allāh) said: "How long have you remained (dead)?" He said: I have remained (in this state) a day, or part of a day. (Allāh) said: "Rather, you have remained one hundred years!" So look at your food and drink - it has not changed (with time); and look at your donkey, and We will make you a sign for the people; see how We set the bones together, then clothe them with flesh. So when it became clear to him, he said: "I know that Allāh has full Power over all things."
