وَأُمۡلِي لَهُمۡۚ إِنَّ كَيۡدِي مَتِينٌ

183.I grant them respite. My Plan is firm39.

39. Muhammad, the Messenger of God (ﷺ) said: “Allah gives the wrongful respite, but when He seizes them, He will not let them off”. Then he (ﷺ) recited this verse of the Qur’an: “Such is the seizing of your Lord when He seizes the towns while they are doing wrong. His seizing is painful, severe.”
