[31] Le verbe « séjourner » a en principe un sémantisme provisoire. Si nous le préférons à « demeurer », utilisé dans beaucoup d’autres traductions, et à « résider » qui est d’un emploi administratif, c’est pour mieux exprimer cet aspect paradoxal d’un « séjour » mais « éternel », le temps dans l’au-delà étant infini. Notons aussi le passage du singulier au pluriel : « celui/ceux », assez fréquent dans le texte coranique.
