ٱلۡحَجُّ أَشۡهُرٞ مَّعۡلُومَٰتٞۚ فَمَن فَرَضَ فِيهِنَّ ٱلۡحَجَّ فَلَا رَفَثَ وَلَا فُسُوقَ وَلَا جِدَالَ فِي ٱلۡحَجِّۗ وَمَا تَفۡعَلُواْ مِنۡ خَيۡرٖ يَعۡلَمۡهُ ٱللَّهُۗ وَتَزَوَّدُواْ فَإِنَّ خَيۡرَ ٱلزَّادِ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰۖ وَٱتَّقُونِ يَٰٓأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
197. The Pilgrimage is (performed in) well-known months [74]. So whoever undertook the obligation of Hajj therein (by assuming Ihram), there is to be no carnal relations, nor disobedience, nor disputing during the Hajj. And whatever good you do, Allāh knows it. And take provision, for the best provision is (to live a life of) righteousness. And fear me, O people of understanding.
[74]. The months of Shawwal, Dhul Qa’dah, and Dhul Hijjah in the lunar year.
