عبس

Ayah: 1

عَبَسَ وَتَوَلَّىٰٓ
عَبَسَ: قَطَّبَ وَجْهَهُ، وَظهَرَ أَثَرُ التَّغَيُّرِ عَلَيْهِ.
وَتَوَلَّى: أَعْرَضَ.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

أَن جَآءَهُ ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ
أَن جَاءَهُ الْأَعْمَى: لِأَجْلِ مَجِيءِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أُمِّ مُكْتُومٍ - رضي الله عنه -.

Ayah: 3

وَمَا يُدۡرِيكَ لَعَلَّهُۥ يَزَّكَّىٰٓ
يَزَّكَّى: يَتَطَهَّرُ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ.

أَوۡ يَذَّكَّرُ فَتَنفَعَهُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰٓ

أَمَّا مَنِ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ

فَأَنتَ لَهُۥ تَصَدَّىٰ
تَصَدَّى: تَتَعَرَّضُ لَهُ.

وَمَا عَلَيۡكَ أَلَّا يَزَّكَّىٰ

وَأَمَّا مَن جَآءَكَ يَسۡعَىٰ

وَهُوَ يَخۡشَىٰ

فَأَنتَ عَنۡهُ تَلَهَّىٰ
تَلَهَّى: تَتَشَاغَلُ.

كَلَّآ إِنَّهَا تَذۡكِرَةٞ
كَلَّا: لَيْسَ الأَمْرُ كَمَا فَعَلْتَ.

فَمَن شَآءَ ذَكَرَهُۥ

فِي صُحُفٖ مُّكَرَّمَةٖ

مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ

بِأَيۡدِي سَفَرَةٖ
سَفَرَةٍ: مَلَائِكَةٍ كَتَبَةٍ يَقُومُونَ بِالسِّفَارَةِ بَيْنَ اللهِ وَخَلْقِهِ.

كِرَامِۭ بَرَرَةٖ
بَرَرَةٍ: مُطِيعِينَ للهِ لَا يَعْصُونَهُ.

قُتِلَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ مَآ أَكۡفَرَهُۥ
قُتِلَ الْإِنسَانُ: لُعِنَ الكَافِرُ، وَعُذِّبَ.
مَا أَكْفَرَهُ: مَا أَشَدَّ كُفْرَهُ!

مِنۡ أَيِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقَهُۥ

مِن نُّطۡفَةٍ خَلَقَهُۥ فَقَدَّرَهُۥ
نُّطْفَةٍ: مَاءٍ قَلِيلٍ مَهِينٍ؛ وَهُوَ المَنِيُّ.
فَقَدَّرَهُ: خَلَقَهُ أَطْوَارًا.

ثُمَّ ٱلسَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُۥ
السَّبِيلَ يَسَّرَهُ: سَهَّلَ لَهُ طَرِيقَ خُرُوجِهِ مِنْ بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ، وَبَيَّنَ لَهُ طَرِيقَ الخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ.

ثُمَّ أَمَاتَهُۥ فَأَقۡبَرَهُۥ
فَأَقْبَرَهُ: جَعَلَ لَهُ مَكَانًا يُقْبَرُ فِيهِ.

ثُمَّ إِذَا شَآءَ أَنشَرَهُۥ
أَنشَرَهُ: أَحْيَاهُ.

كَلَّا لَمَّا يَقۡضِ مَآ أَمَرَهُۥ
لَمَّا يَقْضِ مَا أَمَرَهُ: لَمْ يُؤَدِّ الكَافرُ مَا أَمَرَهُ اللهُ بِهِ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَالطَّاعَةِ.

فَلۡيَنظُرِ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ إِلَىٰ طَعَامِهِۦٓ

أَنَّا صَبَبۡنَا ٱلۡمَآءَ صَبّٗا

فَأَنۢبَتۡنَا فِيهَا حَبّٗا

وَعِنَبٗا وَقَضۡبٗا
وَقَضْبًا: عَلَفًا لِلدَّوَابِّ.

وَزَيۡتُونٗا وَنَخۡلٗا

وَحَدَآئِقَ غُلۡبٗا
غُلْبًا: عَظِيمَةَ الأَشْجَارِ.

وَفَٰكِهَةٗ وَأَبّٗا
وَأَبًّا: كَلَأً لِلْبَهَائِمِ.

مَّتَٰعٗا لَّكُمۡ وَلِأَنۡعَٰمِكُمۡ

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلصَّآخَّةُ
الصَّاخَّةُ: صَيْحَةُ يَوْمِ القِيَامَةِ الَّتِي تَصُمُّ الآذَانَ مِنْ هَوْلِهَا.

يَوۡمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلۡمَرۡءُ مِنۡ أَخِيهِ

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ مُّسۡفِرَةٞ
مُّسْفِرَةٌ: مُسْتَنِيرَةٌ.

ضَاحِكَةٞ مُّسۡتَبۡشِرَةٞ
مُّسْتَبْشِرَةٌ: فَرِحَةٌ.

وَوُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَلَيۡهَا غَبَرَةٞ
غَبَرَةٌ: غُبَارٌ، وَكُدُورَةٌ.

تَرۡهَقُهَا قَتَرَةٌ
تَرْهَقُهَا: تَغْشَاهَا.
قَتَرَةٌ: ذِلَّةٌ، وَظُلْمَةٌ.

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَفَرَةُ ٱلۡفَجَرَةُ
الْكَفَرَةُ: الجَاحِدُونَ بِقُلُوبِهِمْ.
الْفَجَرَةُ: العُصَاةُ بِأَعْمَالِهِمْ.
