EL-KARI'A

Ayah: 1

ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Udar zastrašujući!

مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
Što je Udar zastrašujući?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡقَارِعَةُ
I što ti znaš šta je Udar zastrašujući?

Ayah: 4

يَوۡمَ يَكُونُ ٱلنَّاسُ كَٱلۡفَرَاشِ ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِ
Dan taj ljudi će biti kao leptiri raštrkani,

Ayah: 5

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ ٱلۡمَنفُوشِ
a planine kao šarena vuna iščupana.

فَأَمَّا مَن ثَقُلَتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
Onaj čija dobra djela budu teška,

فَهُوَ فِي عِيشَةٖ رَّاضِيَةٖ
u ugodnom životu će živjeti,

وَأَمَّا مَنۡ خَفَّتۡ مَوَٰزِينُهُۥ
a onaj čija dobra djela budu lagana,

فَأُمُّهُۥ هَاوِيَةٞ
boravište će mu bezdan biti.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا هِيَهۡ
A znaš li ti što će to biti?

نَارٌ حَامِيَةُۢ
Vatra užarena!
