Translation of the meanings Ayah: (59) Surah: Al-Ahzāb
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلنَّبِيُّ قُل لِّأَزۡوَٰجِكَ وَبَنَاتِكَ وَنِسَآءِ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ يُدۡنِينَ عَلَيۡهِنَّ مِن جَلَٰبِيبِهِنَّۚ ذَٰلِكَ أَدۡنَىٰٓ أَن يُعۡرَفۡنَ فَلَا يُؤۡذَيۡنَۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورٗا رَّحِيمٗا
59. O Profeet! Vertel je vrouwen en je dochters en de vrouwen van de gelovigen om hun mantels (sluiers) over hun lichamen te trekken. Dat zal beter zijn, dat zij bekend zullen staan zodat zij niet worden lastig gevallen. En Allah is altijd meest Vergevend, meest Genadevol.
