Translation of the meanings Ayah: (20) Surah: An-Nisā’
وَإِنۡ أَرَدتُّمُ ٱسۡتِبۡدَالَ زَوۡجٖ مَّكَانَ زَوۡجٖ وَءَاتَيۡتُمۡ إِحۡدَىٰهُنَّ قِنطَارٗا فَلَا تَأۡخُذُواْ مِنۡهُ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أَتَأۡخُذُونَهُۥ بُهۡتَٰنٗا وَإِثۡمٗا مُّبِينٗا
20. Maar als jullie een vrouw door een andere vrouw willen vervangen (hier wordt de scheiding mee bedoeld) en jullie geven haar een erg groot bedrag als bruidsschat, neem daar helemaal niks van terug; Zullen jullie het onrechtmatig nemen zonder recht en een grote zonde plegen [1]?
[1]tegen over jullie vrouwen ook al zijn zij jullie ex-partners vergeet niet de goede tijden.
