Translation of the meanings Ayah: (21) Surah: Ghāfir
۞ أَوَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَانُواْ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُواْ هُمۡ أَشَدَّ مِنۡهُمۡ قُوَّةٗ وَءَاثَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَأَخَذَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ وَمَا كَانَ لَهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِن وَاقٖ
21. Hebben zij niet door het land gereisd en gezien wat het einde was van degenen die vóór hen waren? Zij waren sterker dan hen en lieten meer sporen op het land achter. En toch greep Allah hen met een bestraffing voor hun zonden. En zij hadden niemand die hen tegen Allah kon beschermen.
