Translation of the meanings Ayah: (82) Surah: Ghāfir
أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَيَنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡۚ كَانُوٓاْ أَكۡثَرَ مِنۡهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةٗ وَءَاثَارٗا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
82. Hebben zij niet over de aarde gereisd en gezien wat het einde van degenen was die vóór hen waren? Zij waren in grotere aantallen dan hen en groter in kracht en in de sporen op het land, maar toch ondervonden zij geen profijt van hun inspanning (geen zegening).
