Translation of the meanings Ayah: (142) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
۞ وَوَٰعَدۡنَا مُوسَىٰ ثَلَٰثِينَ لَيۡلَةٗ وَأَتۡمَمۡنَٰهَا بِعَشۡرٖ فَتَمَّ مِيقَٰتُ رَبِّهِۦٓ أَرۡبَعِينَ لَيۡلَةٗۚ وَقَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِأَخِيهِ هَٰرُونَ ٱخۡلُفۡنِي فِي قَوۡمِي وَأَصۡلِحۡ وَلَا تَتَّبِعۡ سَبِيلَ ٱلۡمُفۡسِدِينَ
142. En Wij wezen voor Moesa dertig nachten aan en voegden nog tien toe, en hij maakte de periode die door zijn Heer was aangewezen vol met veertig nachten. En Moesa zei tegen zijn broeder Haaron: “Wees mijn vervanging voor mijn mensen, handel op de juiste manier en volg niet de weg van de verderfzaaiers."
