Soerat Al-Morsalaat (Zij Die Gezonden Waren)

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡمُرۡسَلَٰتِ عُرۡفٗا
1. Bij de winden, die na elkaar vooruit zijn gestuurd.

Ayah: 2

فَٱلۡعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصۡفٗا
2. En bij de winden die hard blazen.

Ayah: 3

وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشۡرٗا
3. En bij de winden die de wolken en regen verspreiden,

Ayah: 4

فَٱلۡفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرۡقٗا
4. En bij de verzen die het goede van het foute scheiden.

فَٱلۡمُلۡقِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
5. En bij de engelen die de openbaringen naar de boodschappers brengen.

عُذۡرًا أَوۡ نُذۡرًا
6. Als een excuus en als een waarschuwing.

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٞ
7. Waarlijk, wat jullie beloofd is zal vervuld worden.

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتۡ
8. Als dan de sterren hun licht verliezen

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتۡ
9. En de hemel splijt.

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ نُسِفَتۡ
10. En de bergen weggeblazen worden.

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتۡ
11. En als de boodschappers verzameld worden op de hen aangewezen tijd.

لِأَيِّ يَوۡمٍ أُجِّلَتۡ
12. Voor welke dag is het uitgesteld?

لِيَوۡمِ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
13. Voor de dag van de beslissing.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ
14. En wat zal jullie weten wat de dag van de beslissing is?

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
15. Wee die dag de ontkenners!

أَلَمۡ نُهۡلِكِ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
16. Hebben wij de eerdere generaties niet vernietigd?

ثُمَّ نُتۡبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
17. Zo zullen Wij latere generaties hen laten volgen.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفۡعَلُ بِٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ
18. Zo gaan Wij met de misdadigers om.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
19. Wee op die dag de ontkenners.

أَلَمۡ نَخۡلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٖ مَّهِينٖ
20. Hebben Wij jullie niet uit een zwak vloeistof geschapen?

فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُ فِي قَرَارٖ مَّكِينٍ
21. Toen hebben Wij jullie in een veilige plaats gezet (in de baarmoeder).

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٖ مَّعۡلُومٖ
22. Voor een bekende periode.

Ayah: 23

فَقَدَرۡنَا فَنِعۡمَ ٱلۡقَٰدِرُونَ
23. Zo hebben Wij het bepaald en Wij zijn de beste om (zaken) te bepalen.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
24. Wee op die dag de ontkenners.

أَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ كِفَاتًا
25. Hebben Wij de aarde niet als een verzamelplaats gemaakt.

أَحۡيَآءٗ وَأَمۡوَٰتٗا
26. Voor de levenden en de doden.

Ayah: 27

وَجَعَلۡنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِيَ شَٰمِخَٰتٖ وَأَسۡقَيۡنَٰكُم مَّآءٗ فُرَاتٗا
27. En daarin ferme en hoge bergen geplaatst en jullie zoet water te drinken gegeven?

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
28. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

Ayah: 29

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
29. (Er zal gezegd worden tegen de ongelovigen:) "Vertrek jullie naar datgene wat jullie plachten te ontkennen!”

ٱنطَلِقُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ ظِلّٖ ذِي ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٖ
30. Vertrek jullie naar een schaduw in drie kolommen.

لَّا ظَلِيلٖ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ
31. De schaduw kan niet van enig nut zijn tegen de felle vlammen van het vuur.

إِنَّهَا تَرۡمِي بِشَرَرٖ كَٱلۡقَصۡرِ
32. Waarlijk! Het (de hel) werpt vonken uit (groot) als een fort of een groot blok hout.

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٞ صُفۡرٞ
33. Alsof zij gele kamelen waren.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
34. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

Ayah: 35

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ
35. Dat zal een dag zijn wanneer zij niet zullen spreken.

وَلَا يُؤۡذَنُ لَهُمۡ فَيَعۡتَذِرُونَ
36. En het zal hun niet toegestaan worden om zich te verontschuldigen.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
37. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِۖ جَمَعۡنَٰكُمۡ وَٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
38. Dat zal de dag zijn van het besluit! Wij hebben jullie en de eerdere generaties tezamen gebracht!

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمۡ كَيۡدٞ فَكِيدُونِ
39. Als jullie een samenzwering hebben gebruik hem dan (tegen Mij)!

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
40. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي ظِلَٰلٖ وَعُيُونٖ
41. Waarlijk de godvrezenden zullen temidden van schaduw en bronnen zijn.

Ayah: 42

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشۡتَهُونَ
42. En fruit – zoals zij wensen.

Ayah: 43

كُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ هَنِيٓـَٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمۡ تَعۡمَلُونَ
43. “Eet en drink in alle gemak vanwege wat jullie plachten te doen.”

Ayah: 44

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجۡزِي ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
44. Waarlijk, zo belonen Wij de weldoeners.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
45. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

كُلُواْ وَتَمَتَّعُواْ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجۡرِمُونَ
46. Eet en vermaak jezelf voor korte tijd. Waarlijk jullie zijn de misdadigers.

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
47. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرۡكَعُواْ لَا يَرۡكَعُونَ
48. En als er tegen hen gezegd wordt: “Buig, dan Buigen zij niet neer."

وَيۡلٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ لِّلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ
49. Wee op die dag de ontkenners!

فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ
50. In welke boodschap hierna zullen zij dan wel geloven?
