Translation of the meanings Ayah: (67) Surah: Al-Anfāl
مَا كَانَ لِنَبِيٍّ أَن يَكُونَ لَهُۥٓ أَسۡرَىٰ حَتَّىٰ يُثۡخِنَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ تُرِيدُونَ عَرَضَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱللَّهُ يُرِيدُ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٞ
67. Het is niet aan een profeet dat hij krijgsgevangenen moet hebben tot hij zijn kracht op aarde gevestigd heeft. Jullie wensen het goede van deze wereld, maar Allah wenst (voor jullie) het hiernamaals. En Allah is Almachtig, Alwijs.
