Translation of the meanings Ayah: (71) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
قَالَ قَدۡ وَقَعَ عَلَيۡكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ رِجۡسٞ وَغَضَبٌۖ أَتُجَٰدِلُونَنِي فِيٓ أَسۡمَآءٖ سَمَّيۡتُمُوهَآ أَنتُمۡ وَءَابَآؤُكُم مَّا نَزَّلَ ٱللَّهُ بِهَا مِن سُلۡطَٰنٖۚ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ
(71) He said: “There befalls you an affliction from your Lord, and Wrath! Do you argue with me on ˹behalf˺ of ˹mere˺ names that you and your fathers name for whom Allah sent down no authority? Wait you then and I shall be with you among those who wait!”
