Translation of the meanings Ayah: (130) Surah: Al-Baqarah
130. Who would be averse to the creed of Abraham (i.e., Islam) except one who fools of himself35. We have chosen him in this world, and he is surely in the Hereafter among the righteous (in the highest rank of Heaven)36.
35. Abdullah bin Salam, a renown Jewish scholar who embraced islam in Madinah, during the time of the Prophet, then he invited his two nephews to Islam and said to them: You have learned that God Almighty said in the Torah: I will send from the son of Ishmael a prophet whose name will be Ahmad. Whoever believes in him is guided, and whoever does not believe in him is cursed. So one of them converted to Islam and the other refused to convert to Islam, so God Almighty revealed this verse.
36. Abraham was a prophet and messenger of Allah, and an ancestor to the Ishmaelite Arabs and Israelites.  Abraham plays a prominent role as an example of faith in Islam. Abraham fulfilled all the commandments and trials.
