Translation of the meanings Ayah: (117) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٖ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتۡ حَرۡثَ قَوۡمٖ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَأَهۡلَكَتۡهُۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
117. The likeness of what they spend in the life of this world is as the likeness of frosty wind (that) strikes the harvest of a people who have sinned against themselves and destroys it. Allāh has not done injustice to them, but they have wronged themselves.
