Translation of the meanings Ayah: (140) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
إِن يَمۡسَسۡكُمۡ قَرۡحٞ فَقَدۡ مَسَّ ٱلۡقَوۡمَ قَرۡحٞ مِّثۡلُهُۥۚ وَتِلۡكَ ٱلۡأَيَّامُ نُدَاوِلُهَا بَيۡنَ ٱلنَّاسِ وَلِيَعۡلَمَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَيَتَّخِذَ مِنكُمۡ شُهَدَآءَۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
140. If a wound has touched you (at the battle of Uhud), a similar wound has also touched the (disbelieving) people (at the battle of Badr). We alternate these days (good and hard times) among the people, so that Allah (God) may make evident those who believe and take martyrs from among you. Allah does not like the unjust.
