Translation of the meanings Ayah: (187) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ وَٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَا يَشۡتَرُونَ
187. When Allāh made a Covenant with those who were given the Scripture: "You shall certainly make it (the coming of the Prophet Muhammad) known to the people, and you shall not hide it;" but they cast it behind their backs and traded it a trifling gain for it - so evil indeed is what they buy!
