Translation of the meanings Ayah: (200) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ ٱصۡبِرُواْ وَصَابِرُواْ وَرَابِطُواْ وَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ
200. O believers, be patient, and indure63, and be garrisoned64, fear Allāh - that you may prosper.
63. The Qur’an teaches us to be patient in the face of life’s trials and tribulations and
in our interactions with others. We are encouraged to clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience when dealing with others. We are reminded to be patient with those who may be difficult or challenging to love.
64. I.e., the fact of ‘tying up’ one’s war mounts at outposts to protect the borders from enemy attack.
