Translation of the meanings Ayah: (17) Surah: Luqmān
يَٰبُنَيَّ أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَأۡمُرۡ بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ وَٱنۡهَ عَنِ ٱلۡمُنكَرِ وَٱصۡبِرۡ عَلَىٰ مَآ أَصَابَكَۖ إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ مِنۡ عَزۡمِ ٱلۡأُمُورِ
17. O my son, keep up the prayer and enjoin what is right (and just)7 and forbid what is wrong8, and bear patiently whatever befalls you. These are of the (necessary and) important matters (ordered by Allah with no exemption).
7. Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good
8. I.e., disbelief in the Oneness of God, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad
