Translation of the meanings Ayah: (14) Surah: Al-Jāthiyah
قُل لِّلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ يَغۡفِرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ لَا يَرۡجُونَ أَيَّامَ ٱللَّهِ لِيَجۡزِيَ قَوۡمَۢا بِمَا كَانُواْ يَكۡسِبُونَ
Dis à ceux qui ont cru de pardonner à ceux qui n’espèrent pas les jours d’Allah afin qu’Il rétribue [chaque] peuple pour les acquis qu’ils faisaient.
[862] Ceux qui n’espèrent pas: ceux qui ne craignent pas. Les jours d’Allah: les événements qu’Allah peut faire arriver. Ce verset exclut l’esprit de vengeance envers les non-Musulmans.
