أَن تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أُنزِلَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبُ عَلَىٰ طَآئِفَتَيۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِنَا وَإِن كُنَّا عَن دِرَاسَتِهِمۡ لَغَٰفِلِينَ
afin que vous ne disiez point : "On n’a fait descendre le Livre que sur deux peuples avant nous, et nous avons été inattentifs à les étudier (la Thora et l’Évangile) . @Corrected

[314] Peuples avant nous: les Juifs et les Chrétiens. Les étudier: les livres précédents (la Thora et l’Evangile).
