Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Masad   Ayah:

Al Masad

Purposes of the Surah:
بيان خسران أبي لهب وزوجه.
La généalogie et le prestige ne sont d’aucune utilité lorsqu’on mécroit en Allah.

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Que les mains de `Abû Lahab, l’oncle paternel du Prophète, soient perdues pour ses agissements, puisqu’il persécutait le Prophète, et qu’il soit déçu.

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
En quoi sa fortune et sa progéniture lui ont-été utiles? Ils n’ont pas éloigné de lui le châtiment ni ne lui ont attiré la miséricorde.

Ayah: 3

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
Le Jour de la Résurrection, il sera introduit dans un Feu qui flambe dont il endurera la chaleur.

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
Son épouse `Umm Jamîl, qui persécutait le Prophète en jetant des épines sur son chemin, y sera également introduite.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Elle aura à son cou une corde solidement tressée qui servira à la traîner vers le Feu.

Benefits of the verses in this page:
• المفاصلة مع الكفار.
Les croyants doivent se distinguer des mécréants.
• مقابلة النعم بالشكر.
On se doit de manifester de la reconnaissance lorsque l’on jouit d’un bienfait.
• سورة المسد من دلائل النبوة؛ لأنها حكمت على أبي لهب بالموت كافرًا ومات بعد عشر سنين على ذلك.
Sourate Al-Masad est l’une des preuves de la véracité du Prophète puisqu’elle déclara que `Abû Lahab mourra mécréant et il mourut effectivement mécréant dix ans plus tard.
• صِحَّة أنكحة الكفار.
Le mariage contracté par des mécréants est valide.
