Translation of the meanings Ayah: (42) Surah: Yūnus
وَمِنۡهُم مَّن يَسۡتَمِعُونَ إِلَيۡكَۚ أَفَأَنتَ تُسۡمِعُ ٱلصُّمَّ وَلَوۡ كَانُواْ لَا يَعۡقِلُونَ
42. Et parmi eux, il en est qui t’écoutent volontiers. Mais est-ce toi qui pourras faire entendre les sourds quand ils n’entendent pas[218] ?
[218] Le verbe « entendre » est employé ici au sens étymologisant de « comprendre » (« intendere » : percevoir par l’entendement.).
