AT-TAKÂTHOUR

Ayah: 1

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ
1. La ruée vers les richesses vous distrait,

Ayah: 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ
2. jusqu’au bord de vos tombes.

Ayah: 3

كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
3. Mais vous allez bientôt savoir.

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ
4. Oui, vous allez bientôt savoir.

كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
5. Si seulement vous pouviez savoir avec certitude,

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ
6. Vous verriez alors l’Enfer !

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ
7. Puis vous le verriez, de vos yeux le verriez,

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
8. Puis, ce jour-là, vous serez certes interrogés au sujet des plaisirs.
