Simoore al-masad

Purposes of the Surah:
بيان خسران أبي لهب وزوجه.
Hollirde perte Abii Jahli e cuddiiɗo makko.

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Halkiima juuɗe bappa nelaaɗo -yo o his- Abii laha biy Abdul Muttalibi e pertude golle makko, sabu ko loratno nelaaɗo, golle mum cooyi.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Hol ko jawdi mum nafi mbo? ndi ittanaani mbo lepte, ndi addanaani mbo yurmeende.

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
Ma o naat nyande darnga yiite nge lewlewndu, o tampa e nguleeki henge.

وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ
Ma debbo makko Ummu jamiil naat yiite sabu ko o loratno nelaaɗo-yo o his-weddaade gi*e e laawol makko.

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Ina e daande makko ɓoggol moccangol haa tiiɗi o ɗowree ngol faade yiite.
