Al-‘Asr

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡعَصۡرِ
(Ορκίζομαι) μα το Αλ-‘Άσρ (το Χρόνο)!

إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَفِي خُسۡرٍ
Ότι ο άνθρωπος βρίσκεται σε απώλεια,

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَتَوَاصَوۡاْ بِٱلصَّبۡرِ
Εκτός απ' εκείνους που πιστεύουν, κάνουν ενάρετες πράξεις, συνιστούν ο ένας στον άλλο την αλήθεια (την αληθινή πίστη και το να πράττουν καλές πράξεις) και συνιστούν ο ένας στον άλλο την υπομονή.
