Al-Humazah

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Αλίμονο στον συκοφάντη που κακολογεί τους άλλους πίσω από την πλάτη τους.

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Ο οποίος μάζευε πλούτη και τα μετρούσε ξανά και ξανά.

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
Νομίζοντας ότι τα πλούτη του θα τον κάνουν να ζήσει αιώνια.

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
Όχι! Πράγματι, θα ριχτεί στην Αλ-Χούταμα (Σπαστήρα, τη Φωτιά που σπάει ό,τι ριχτεί μέσα της).

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
Και πώς να ξέρεις πόσο μεγαλειώδης είναι η Αλ-Χούταμα (Σπαστήρας);

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
(Είναι) η Φωτιά του Αλλάχ που είναι (αιώνια) φουντωμένη.

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
Που διεισδύει (μέσα στα σώματα και φτάνει) έως τις καρδιές.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
Είναι κλειδωμένη περικλείοντας τους (άπιστους) μέσα της.

فِي عَمَدٖ مُّمَدَّدَةِۭ
Με μακριές μπάρες (ώστε να μην μπορέσουν να βγουν απ' αυτή).
