Ayah: 127

لِيَقۡطَعَ طَرَفٗا مِّنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓاْ أَوۡ يَكۡبِتَهُمۡ فَيَنقَلِبُواْ خَآئِبِينَ
(Αυτή η νίκη που σας χάρισε ο Αλλάχ κατά τη μάχη του Μπαντρ, ήταν) για να αποκόψει ένα μέρος των άπιστων (με το να σκοτωθούν) ή να τους ταπεινώσει (τους υπόλοιπους που δεν σκοτώθηκαν στη μάχη), ώστε να επιστρέψουν εντελώς απογοητευμένοι (με την ήττα και την ταπείνωσή τους).
