Ayah: 143

وَلَقَدۡ كُنتُمۡ تَمَنَّوۡنَ ٱلۡمَوۡتَ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن تَلۡقَوۡهُ فَقَدۡ رَأَيۡتُمُوهُ وَأَنتُمۡ تَنظُرُونَ
Και πράγματι, ευχόσασταν τον θάνατο (δηλ. να συναντήσετε τους άπιστους και να γίνετε μάρτυρες στο δρόμο του Αλλάχ) πριν να τον συναντήσετε (δηλ. τις αιτίες του), και (ιδού εσείς) τον έχετε δει ενώ κοιτούσατε.
