Ayah: 183

ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَهِدَ إِلَيۡنَآ أَلَّا نُؤۡمِنَ لِرَسُولٍ حَتَّىٰ يَأۡتِيَنَا بِقُرۡبَانٖ تَأۡكُلُهُ ٱلنَّارُۗ قُلۡ قَدۡ جَآءَكُمۡ رُسُلٞ مِّن قَبۡلِي بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ وَبِٱلَّذِي قُلۡتُمۡ فَلِمَ قَتَلۡتُمُوهُمۡ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
Είναι εκείνοι (οι Εβραίοι) που είπαν: «Πράγματι, ο Αλλάχ μάς διέταξε να μην πιστέψουμε σε κανέναν Αγγελιαφόρο μέχρι να μας φέρει μια θυσία την οποία θα καταβροχθίσει η φωτιά (από τον ουρανό).» Πες (ω, Μωχάμμαντ): «Πράγματι, ήρθαν σ' εσάς Αγγελιαφόροι πριν από εμένα, με σαφείς αποδείξεις, ακόμη και με αυτά που είπατε (δηλ. θυσίες)· γιατί τότε τους σκοτώσατε, αν είστε ειλικρινείς;»
