Ayah: 8

وَكَأَيِّن مِّن قَرۡيَةٍ عَتَتۡ عَنۡ أَمۡرِ رَبِّهَا وَرُسُلِهِۦ فَحَاسَبۡنَٰهَا حِسَابٗا شَدِيدٗا وَعَذَّبۡنَٰهَا عَذَابٗا نُّكۡرٗا
Και πόσες κωμοπόλεις (πληθυσμοί) παράκουσαν (αλαζονικά) την Εντολή του Κυρίου τους και των Αγγελιαφόρων Του· και έτσι, τους φέραμε για σκληρή λογοδότηση (για τις κακές τους πράξεις), και τους τιμωρήσαμε με τρομερό μαρτύριο.
