Translation of the meanings Ayah: (8) Surah: An-Noor

Ayah: 8

وَیَدْرَؤُا عَنْهَا الْعَذَابَ اَنْ تَشْهَدَ اَرْبَعَ شَهٰدٰتٍۢ بِاللّٰهِ ۙ— اِنَّهٗ لَمِنَ الْكٰذِبِیْنَ ۟ۙ
और उस (स्त्री) से दंड[9] को यह बात हटाएगी कि वह अल्लाह की क़सम खाकर चार बार गवाही दे कि निःसंदेह वह (व्यक्ति) झूठों में से है।
9. अर्थात व्यभिचार का दंड।
