Ayah: 118

یٰۤاَیُّهَا الَّذِیْنَ اٰمَنُوْا لَا تَتَّخِذُوْا بِطَانَةً مِّنْ دُوْنِكُمْ لَا یَاْلُوْنَكُمْ خَبَالًا ؕ— وَدُّوْا مَا عَنِتُّمْ ۚ— قَدْ بَدَتِ الْبَغْضَآءُ مِنْ اَفْوَاهِهِمْ ۖۚ— وَمَا تُخْفِیْ صُدُوْرُهُمْ اَكْبَرُ ؕ— قَدْ بَیَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْاٰیٰتِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ تَعْقِلُوْنَ ۟
ऐ ईमान वालो! तुम अपनों के सिवा किसी दूसरे को अपना अंतरंग मित्र न बनाओ,[64] वे तुम्हें बर्बाद करने में कोई कमी नहीं करते। उन्हें वही बात भाती है, जिससे तुम्हें कष्ट पहुँचे। उनके मुखों से शत्रुता प्रकट हो चुकी है तथा जो उनके दिल छुपा रखे हैं, वह इससे बढ़कर है। हमने तुम्हारे लिए आयतों का वर्णन कर दिया है, यदि तुम समझबूझ रखते हो।
64. अर्थात वे ग़ैर मुस्लिम जिनपर तुम को विश्वास नहीं कि वे तुम्हारे लिए किसी प्रकार की अच्छी भावना रखते हों।
