Translation of the meanings Ayah: (168) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
اَلَّذِیْنَ قَالُوْا لِاِخْوَانِهِمْ وَقَعَدُوْا لَوْ اَطَاعُوْنَا مَا قُتِلُوْا ؕ— قُلْ فَادْرَءُوْا عَنْ اَنْفُسِكُمُ الْمَوْتَ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِیْنَ ۟
ये वही लोग हैं जो स्वयं तो (लड़ाई से) पीछे बैठे रहे और अपने भाइयों के बारे में कहने लगे : यदि वे हमारी बात मानते, तो मारे न जाते! (ऐ नबी!) कह दीजिए : फिर तो मौत[92] से अपनी रक्षा कर लो, यदि तुम सच्चे हो।
92. अर्थात अपने उपाय से सदाजीवी हो जाओ।
