Al-Qadr

Ayah: 1

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Sesungguhnya Kami telah menurunkannya (Al-Qur`ān) pada malam kemuliaan1594.
1594. "Malam kemuliaan" dikenal dalam bahasa Indonesia dengan malam lailatulkadar, yaitu suatu malam yang penuh kemuliaan, kebesaran, karena pada malam itu permulaan turunnya Al-Qur`ān.

Ayah: 2

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ
Dan tahukah kamu apakah malam kemuliaan itu?

لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرٞ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرٖ
Malam kemuliaan itu lebih baik dari seribu bulan.

Ayah: 4

تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرٖ
Pada malam itu turun malaikat-malaikat dan malaikat Jibril dengan izin Tuhan-nya untuk mengatur segala urusan.

سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ
Malam itu (penuh) kesejahteraan sampai terbit fajar.
