Translation of the meanings Surah: Āl-‘Imrān   Ayah:

Ayah: 187

وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ وَٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَا يَشۡتَرُونَ
E quando Allāh strinse un accordo con quelli che hanno avuto il Libro: “Lo chiarirete alla gente e non lo nasconderete!” ﴿وَإِذْ أَخَذَ اللَّهُ مِيثَاقَ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْكِتَابَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكْتُمُونَهُ﴾ Però se le gettarono dietro le spalle e le comprarono a vile prezzo: che infausto affare!

Ayah: 188

لَا تَحۡسَبَنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَفۡرَحُونَ بِمَآ أَتَواْ وَّيُحِبُّونَ أَن يُحۡمَدُواْ بِمَا لَمۡ يَفۡعَلُواْ فَلَا تَحۡسَبَنَّهُم بِمَفَازَةٖ مِّنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
Non pensare che quelli che sono soddisfatti di ciò che hanno donato, e pretendono di essere ringraziati per ciò che non hanno fatto, siano esenti dalla punizione, e li aspetta una punizione dolorosa.

Ayah: 189

وَلِلَّهِ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ قَدِيرٌ
Appartiene ad Allāh il Regno dei cieli e della terra, e Allāh è Onnipotente.

Ayah: 190

إِنَّ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلۡأَلۡبَٰبِ
In verità, nella creazione dei cieli e della terra, e nell’alternarsi della notte e del giorno, ci sono segni per quelli che hanno intelletto;

Ayah: 191

ٱلَّذِينَ يَذۡكُرُونَ ٱللَّهَ قِيَٰمٗا وَقُعُودٗا وَعَلَىٰ جُنُوبِهِمۡ وَيَتَفَكَّرُونَ فِي خَلۡقِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ رَبَّنَا مَا خَلَقۡتَ هَٰذَا بَٰطِلٗا سُبۡحَٰنَكَ فَقِنَا عَذَابَ ٱلنَّارِ
quelli che nominano Allāh in piedi e seduti e stesi su un fianco, e meditano sulla creazione dei cieli e della terra, e dicono: «Dio nostro, non hai creato tutto ciò invano! Gloria a Te! Risparmiaci la pena del Fuoco!

Ayah: 192

رَبَّنَآ إِنَّكَ مَن تُدۡخِلِ ٱلنَّارَ فَقَدۡ أَخۡزَيۡتَهُۥۖ وَمَا لِلظَّٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٖ
Dio nostro, in verità chi fai entrare nel Fuoco, Tu lo copri di vergogna e gli ingiusti non hanno sostenitori!

Ayah: 193

رَّبَّنَآ إِنَّنَا سَمِعۡنَا مُنَادِيٗا يُنَادِي لِلۡإِيمَٰنِ أَنۡ ءَامِنُواْ بِرَبِّكُمۡ فَـَٔامَنَّاۚ رَبَّنَا فَٱغۡفِرۡ لَنَا ذُنُوبَنَا وَكَفِّرۡ عَنَّا سَيِّـَٔاتِنَا وَتَوَفَّنَا مَعَ ٱلۡأَبۡرَارِ
Dio nostro, in verità abbiamo ascoltato un annunciatore che chiamava alla fede, che disse: “Credete nel Dio vostro!” Così noi abbiamo creduto, Dio nostro, perdonaci i peccati e le cattive azioni e facci morire tra i beati!

Ayah: 194

رَبَّنَا وَءَاتِنَا مَا وَعَدتَّنَا عَلَىٰ رُسُلِكَ وَلَا تُخۡزِنَا يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِۖ إِنَّكَ لَا تُخۡلِفُ ٱلۡمِيعَادَ
Dio nostro, e concedici ciò che ci hai promesso attraverso i Tuoi Messaggeri, e non umiliarci il Giorno del Giudizio! Tu in verità non manchi alla promessa».
