Ayah: 1

حمٓ
Ħæ, Mī-īm ﴿حمٓ﴾
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
Per il chiaro Libro!

Ayah: 3

إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةٖ مُّبَٰرَكَةٍۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُنذِرِينَ
In verità lo abbiamo fatto discendere in una notte benedetta – in verità Noi siamo gli Avvertitori –

Ayah: 4

فِيهَا يُفۡرَقُ كُلُّ أَمۡرٍ حَكِيمٍ
in cui si chiarì ogni saggio ordine:

أَمۡرٗا مِّنۡ عِندِنَآۚ إِنَّا كُنَّا مُرۡسِلِينَ
ordine emanato da Noi; in verità Noi siamo i Mandanti –

Ayah: 6

رَحۡمَةٗ مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ
come grazia dal tuo Dio: in verità Lui è l’Ascoltatore, il Sapiente,

Ayah: 7

رَبِّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَآۖ إِن كُنتُم مُّوقِنِينَ
Dio dei cieli e della terra e di ciò che c’è di mezzo – se solo ne foste convinti! –
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 8

لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ يُحۡيِۦ وَيُمِيتُۖ رَبُّكُمۡ وَرَبُّ ءَابَآئِكُمُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
non c’è divinità all’infuori di Lui; fa nascere e morire; Dio vostro e Dio dei vostri padri precedenti.

Ayah: 9

بَلۡ هُمۡ فِي شَكّٖ يَلۡعَبُونَ
Ma loro giocano nel dubbio!

Ayah: 10

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ يَوۡمَ تَأۡتِي ٱلسَّمَآءُ بِدُخَانٖ مُّبِينٖ
E aspetta il giorno in cui il cielo emetterà un evidente fumo

Ayah: 11

يَغۡشَى ٱلنَّاسَۖ هَٰذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٞ
che avvolgerà gli uomini: «Questa è una dura punizione!»

رَّبَّنَا ٱكۡشِفۡ عَنَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤۡمِنُونَ
”Dio nostro! Liberaci dalla punizione, siamo credenti!”

Ayah: 13

أَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ وَقَدۡ جَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّبِينٞ
A che serve loro ricordare adesso, è già arrivato loro un chiaro Messaggero

Ayah: 14

ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوۡاْ عَنۡهُ وَقَالُواْ مُعَلَّمٞ مَّجۡنُونٌ
a cui volsero poi le spalle e dissero: “Gli è stato insegnato da uomini, ed è un posseduto!”

Ayah: 15

إِنَّا كَاشِفُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ قَلِيلًاۚ إِنَّكُمۡ عَآئِدُونَ
In verità vi libereremo dalla punizione per un po’, ma in verità ci ritornerete.

Ayah: 16

يَوۡمَ نَبۡطِشُ ٱلۡبَطۡشَةَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰٓ إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ
Il Giorno in cui Noi afferreremo con forza, li puniremo come meritano.

Ayah: 17

۞ وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا قَبۡلَهُمۡ قَوۡمَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ وَجَآءَهُمۡ رَسُولٞ كَرِيمٌ
Avevamo già messo alla prova prima di loro il popolo del Faraone, a cui venne un nobile Messaggero:

Ayah: 18

أَنۡ أَدُّوٓاْ إِلَيَّ عِبَادَ ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّي لَكُمۡ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٞ
”Affidatemi i servi di Allāh: in verità io sono un chiaro Messaggero inviato a voi,

Ayah: 19

وَأَن لَّا تَعۡلُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۖ إِنِّيٓ ءَاتِيكُم بِسُلۡطَٰنٖ مُّبِينٖ
E non siate altezzosi verso Allāh, in verità vengo a voi con una chiara prova,

Ayah: 20

وَإِنِّي عُذۡتُ بِرَبِّي وَرَبِّكُمۡ أَن تَرۡجُمُونِ
e mi rifugio nel mio Dio e nel vostro Dio perché non mi lapidiate.

Ayah: 21

وَإِن لَّمۡ تُؤۡمِنُواْ لِي فَٱعۡتَزِلُونِ
E se non mi credete, allontanatevi da me».

Ayah: 22

فَدَعَا رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ قَوۡمٞ مُّجۡرِمُونَ
Allora invocò il suo Dio: «Quelli sono in verità un popolo criminale!»

Ayah: 23

فَأَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِي لَيۡلًا إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
»Parti coi miei servi di notte, in verità sarete inseguiti

وَٱتۡرُكِ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ رَهۡوًاۖ إِنَّهُمۡ جُندٞ مُّغۡرَقُونَ
e lascia il mare calmo: sono un esercito annegato».

Ayah: 25

كَمۡ تَرَكُواْ مِن جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ
Quanti giardini e fonti hanno lasciato dietro,

وَزُرُوعٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ
e raccolti e splendide dimore

Ayah: 27

وَنَعۡمَةٖ كَانُواْ فِيهَا فَٰكِهِينَ
e ricchezze in cui si divertivano!

Ayah: 28

كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا قَوۡمًا ءَاخَرِينَ
Così facemmo ereditare tutto ad altra gente.

Ayah: 29

فَمَا بَكَتۡ عَلَيۡهِمُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَمَا كَانُواْ مُنظَرِينَ
E non li ha pianti né il cielo né la terra, e non ottennero proroga.

Ayah: 30

وَلَقَدۡ نَجَّيۡنَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡمُهِينِ
E salvammo i figli d’Israīl dall’umiliante punizione

Ayah: 31

مِن فِرۡعَوۡنَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ عَالِيٗا مِّنَ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ
dal Faraone, che era in verità il più arrogante tra i malfattori,

Ayah: 32

وَلَقَدِ ٱخۡتَرۡنَٰهُمۡ عَلَىٰ عِلۡمٍ عَلَى ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
e li avevamo prescelti con sapienza tra le creature

Ayah: 33

وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓيَٰتِ مَا فِيهِ بَلَٰٓؤٞاْ مُّبِينٌ
e avevamo concesso loro dei Segni con prove evidenti.

Ayah: 34

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَيَقُولُونَ
In verità loro dicono:

إِنۡ هِيَ إِلَّا مَوۡتَتُنَا ٱلۡأُولَىٰ وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُنشَرِينَ
»Non c’è altro che la prima morte e non saremo resuscitati;

Ayah: 36

فَأۡتُواْ بِـَٔابَآئِنَآ إِن كُنتُمۡ صَٰدِقِينَ
riportateci i nostri padri, se siete veritieri!»

Ayah: 37

أَهُمۡ خَيۡرٌ أَمۡ قَوۡمُ تُبَّعٖ وَٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَٰهُمۡۚ إِنَّهُمۡ كَانُواْ مُجۡرِمِينَ
Loro sono forse superiori al popolo di Tubba’ e a quelli che li hanno preceduti? Li distruggemmo: in verità erano criminali.

Ayah: 38

وَمَا خَلَقۡنَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا لَٰعِبِينَ
E non creammo i cieli e la terra e ciò che c’è di mezzo per divertimento:

Ayah: 39

مَا خَلَقۡنَٰهُمَآ إِلَّا بِٱلۡحَقِّ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ
non li creammo se non con la verità, però la maggior parte di loro non lo sa.

Ayah: 40

إِنَّ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ مِيقَٰتُهُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
In verità il Giorno del Giudizio è fissato per tutti;

Ayah: 41

يَوۡمَ لَا يُغۡنِي مَوۡلًى عَن مَّوۡلٗى شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ
il Giorno in cui nessuno potrà intercedere per alcuno in nulla, e non avranno sostenitore,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 42

إِلَّا مَن رَّحِمَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
tranne chi avrà la pietà di Allāh. In verità Lui è il Potente, il Misericordioso.

Ayah: 43

إِنَّ شَجَرَتَ ٱلزَّقُّومِ
In verità la pianta dello “Zaqqùm”

Ayah: 44

طَعَامُ ٱلۡأَثِيمِ
sarà il cibo dei peccatori,

Ayah: 45

كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ يَغۡلِي فِي ٱلۡبُطُونِ
che gorgoglierà nelle loro viscere
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 46

كَغَلۡيِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
come acqua bollente.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 47

خُذُوهُ فَٱعۡتِلُوهُ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
»Prendetelo e trascinatelo al centro dell’Inferno!

Ayah: 48

ثُمَّ صُبُّواْ فَوۡقَ رَأۡسِهِۦ مِنۡ عَذَابِ ٱلۡحَمِيمِ
Poi versategli sulla testa, per punizione, dell’acqua bollente».

Ayah: 49

ذُقۡ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡكَرِيمُ
”Assaggia! In verità ti ritenevi potente e illustre,

إِنَّ هَٰذَا مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَمۡتَرُونَ
in verità questo è ciò di cui dubitavate!”

إِنَّ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ فِي مَقَامٍ أَمِينٖ
In verità i giusti staranno in una sicura dimora,

فِي جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ
in giardini, tra sorgenti;

Ayah: 53

يَلۡبَسُونَ مِن سُندُسٖ وَإِسۡتَبۡرَقٖ مُّتَقَٰبِلِينَ
godranno di vestiti di seta e di broccato, e staranno gli uni di fronte agli altri –

Ayah: 54

كَذَٰلِكَ وَزَوَّجۡنَٰهُم بِحُورٍ عِينٖ
poi daremo loro spose dai grandi occhi –

Ayah: 55

يَدۡعُونَ فِيهَا بِكُلِّ فَٰكِهَةٍ ءَامِنِينَ
dove si faranno servire ogni sorta di frutta, in serenità:

Ayah: 56

لَا يَذُوقُونَ فِيهَا ٱلۡمَوۡتَ إِلَّا ٱلۡمَوۡتَةَ ٱلۡأُولَىٰۖ وَوَقَىٰهُمۡ عَذَابَ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
non assaggeranno morte, oltre la prima morte, e saranno salvati dalla punizione dell’Inferno

Ayah: 57

فَضۡلٗا مِّن رَّبِّكَۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡعَظِيمُ
per grazia del tuo Dio: quello sarà il grande successo!

Ayah: 58

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَذَكَّرُونَ
Lo facilitammo nella tua lingua, affinché riflettessero.

Ayah: 59

فَٱرۡتَقِبۡ إِنَّهُم مُّرۡتَقِبُونَ
Quindi aspetta, anche loro aspettano.
