Almasad

Ayah: 1

تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبٖ وَتَبَّ
Amaboko yombi ya Abu Lahab[1] arakorama (kubera ko yayakoreshaga abangamira Intumwa y’Imana), ndetse na we ubwe azorame.
[1] Abu Lahab yari se wabo w’Intumwa Muhamadi, akaba yari umwe mu banzi bakomeye b’idini rya Isilamu, barwanyije bakanatoteza Intumwa Muhamadi.

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Umutungo we n’urubyaro rwe nta cyo bizamumarira.

سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارٗا ذَاتَ لَهَبٖ
Azahira mu muriro ugurumana,

Ndetse n’umugore we watwaraga ibiti (by’amahwa yajyaga atega mu nzira Intumwa y’Imana yanyuragamo).

فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلٞ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ
Mu ijosi rye (uwo mugore) hazaba hari umurunga wo mu muriro.
