Ayah: 1

سَبَّحَ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِۖ وَهُوَ ٱلۡعَزِيزُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ
Ibiri mu birere n’ibiri ku isi bisingiza Allah; kandi ni Umunyacyubahiro uhebuje, Nyirubugenge buhambaye.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لِمَ تَقُولُونَ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
Yemwe abemeye! Kuki muvuga ibyo mudakora?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ أَن تَقُولُواْ مَا لَا تَفۡعَلُونَ
Ibyo Allah abyanga bikomeye kuba muvuga ibyo mudakora!

Ayah: 4

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُحِبُّ ٱلَّذِينَ يُقَٰتِلُونَ فِي سَبِيلِهِۦ صَفّٗا كَأَنَّهُم بُنۡيَٰنٞ مَّرۡصُوصٞ
Mu by’ukuri Allah akunda abarwana mu nzira ye bari ku mirongo (bashyize hamwe), bameze nk’inyubako isobetse.

Ayah: 5

وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ يَٰقَوۡمِ لِمَ تُؤۡذُونَنِي وَقَد تَّعۡلَمُونَ أَنِّي رَسُولُ ٱللَّهِ إِلَيۡكُمۡۖ فَلَمَّا زَاغُوٓاْ أَزَاغَ ٱللَّهُ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلۡفَٰسِقِينَ
Unibuke ubwo Musa yabwiraga abantu be ati “Yemwe bantu banjye! Kuki muntoteza kandi muzi ko rwose ndi Intumwa ya Allah yaboherejweho? Nuko ubwo bayobaga (inzira ya Allah), Allah yarekeye imitima yabo mu buyobe, kuko Allah atayobora abantu b’ibyigomeke.
