Alghashiyat

Ayah: 1

هَلۡ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِ
Ese inkuru y’ikizatwikira (abantu ku munsi w’imperuka) yakugezeho?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
Kuri uwo munsi, uburanga bwa bamwe buzaba busuzuguritse,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

عَامِلَةٞ نَّاصِبَةٞ
(Igihe bari ku isi) babaga bakora bashishikaye (basenga ibindi bitari Allah), (ariko ku mperuka) bazaba bananiwe (kandi bafite ikimwaro).

Ayah: 4

تَصۡلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةٗ
Bazajya mu muriro utwika (bawuhiremo);

تُسۡقَىٰ مِنۡ عَيۡنٍ ءَانِيَةٖ
Kandi bazanyweshwa ku isoko (y’amazi) yatuye,

Ayah: 6

لَّيۡسَ لَهُمۡ طَعَامٌ إِلَّا مِن ضَرِيعٖ
Nta byo kurya bazaba bafite uretse ibyatsi birura kandi bifite amahwa,

Ayah: 7

لَّا يُسۡمِنُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي مِن جُوعٖ
(Ibyo byo kurya) ntibizigera bibabyibushya cyangwa ngo bibamare inzara.

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٖ نَّاعِمَةٞ
Kuri uwo munsi kandi (ubundi) buranga buzaba bukeye;

لِّسَعۡيِهَا رَاضِيَةٞ
Bwishimiye ibikorwa byabwo,

فِي جَنَّةٍ عَالِيَةٖ
(Ba nyirabwo bazaba bari) mu Ijuru ry’ikirenga,

لَّا تَسۡمَعُ فِيهَا لَٰغِيَةٗ
Aho batazumva amanjwe,

فِيهَا عَيۡنٞ جَارِيَةٞ
Hazaba harimo isoko itemba,

فِيهَا سُرُرٞ مَّرۡفُوعَةٞ
Hazaba harimo ibitanda byigiye hejuru,

وَأَكۡوَابٞ مَّوۡضُوعَةٞ
N’ibikombe biteguwe (neza),

Ayah: 15

وَنَمَارِقُ مَصۡفُوفَةٞ
N’imisego itondetse ku mirongo (neza),

Ayah: 16

وَزَرَابِيُّ مَبۡثُوثَةٌ
N’amatapi arambuye (biryoheye ijisho).

أَفَلَا يَنظُرُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡإِبِلِ كَيۡفَ خُلِقَتۡ
Ese ntibitegereza uko ingamiya zaremwe?

وَإِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ كَيۡفَ رُفِعَتۡ
N’uburyo ikirere cyahanitswe?

وَإِلَى ٱلۡجِبَالِ كَيۡفَ نُصِبَتۡ
N’uburyo imisozi yashimangiwe (mu butaka)?

وَإِلَى ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَيۡفَ سُطِحَتۡ
N’uburyo isi yarambuwe?

Ayah: 21

فَذَكِّرۡ إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُذَكِّرٞ
Bityo, (yewe Muhamadi) bibutse kuko mu by’ukuri wowe uri uwibutsa,

Ayah: 22

لَّسۡتَ عَلَيۡهِم بِمُصَيۡطِرٍ
Ntukabashyireho igitugu.
