Ayah: 1

ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
기필코 찾아올 날
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
기필코 찾아올 날이란 무엇인가?

Ayah: 3

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحَآقَّةُ
무엇이 그대에게 기필코 찾아올 날이 무엇인지를 알려줄 것인가?

Ayah: 4

كَذَّبَتۡ ثَمُودُ وَعَادُۢ بِٱلۡقَارِعَةِ
싸무드 부족과 아드 부족은 대재앙의 날을 부정하였노라.

Ayah: 5

فَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِٱلطَّاغِيَةِ
싸무드 부족이 극한의 고통으로써 파멸되었다면

وَأَمَّا عَادٞ فَأُهۡلِكُواْ بِرِيحٖ صَرۡصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٖ
아드 부족은 혹한의 사나운 바람으로써 파멸되었노라.

Ayah: 7

سَخَّرَهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ سَبۡعَ لَيَالٖ وَثَمَٰنِيَةَ أَيَّامٍ حُسُومٗاۖ فَتَرَى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ فِيهَا صَرۡعَىٰ كَأَنَّهُمۡ أَعۡجَازُ نَخۡلٍ خَاوِيَةٖ
그분께서 그것(바람)을 굴종시키심에 (바람은) 일곱 밤과 여덟 낮 동안 그들을 덮치고 후렸노라. 그리하여 그때 그대는 무리가 고꾸라져 있음을 보니 그들은 마치 쓰러져 버린 야자수의 몸통과도 같더라.

فَهَلۡ تَرَىٰ لَهُم مِّنۢ بَاقِيَةٖ
그러니 그대는 그들 중에 남아 있는 어떤 것이라도 볼 수 있는가?
