At-Takwīr

Ayah: 1

إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
태양이 말아 덮일 때

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
별들이 곤두박질할 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ
산들이 흘러내릴 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
새끼를 밴 암낙타가 방치될 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
야수들이 소집될 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
바다가 끓어 넘칠 때

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
영혼들이 분류될 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ
생매장된 여아가 질문을 받을 때

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ
어떤 죄를 이유로 그 아이가 살해된 것인가?

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
책자가 펼쳐질 때

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ
하늘이 벗겨질 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
작열하는 불지옥이 화염에 휩싸일 때

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
천국이 가까워졌을 때

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
영혼은 자신이 가져다 놓은 것이 무엇인지 알게 될 것이라.

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
그리하여, 감추어진 별들을 두고 내가 맹세컨대,

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
그리고 나타나고 사라지는 별들과

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
어둠이 물러갈 때의 밤과

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
빛이 숨을 내쉴 때의 아침을 두고 맹세컨대

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
진실로 그것은 명예로운 사도의 말로서

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ
강력함을 지니고, 권좌의 소유자께 가까운 곳에서 높은 지위에 있으며

مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ
그곳에서 추종 받는, 믿을 수 있는 자의 말이라.

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ
그리고 그대들의 동료(무함마드)는 미친 자가 아니라.

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
진실로 그는 선명한 지평선에 있던 그(가브리엘 천사)를 보았노라.

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ
그는 보이지 않는 것에 대해 각박한 자가 아니며

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ
그것(꾸란)은 저주받은 사탄의 말도 아니라.

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
그럼에도 그대들은 어디로 가고 있는가?

Ayah: 27

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
그것(꾸란)은 존재하는 모든 것을 위한 메시지에 다름 아니니

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ
그대들 중 굳건하길 원하는 자를 위한 것이라.

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
만유의 주님이신 하나님께서 원하실 때만이 그대들이 원하게 되노라.
