Translation of the meanings Ayah: (124) Surah: Al-Baqarah
۞ وَإِذِ ٱبۡتَلَىٰٓ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ رَبُّهُۥ بِكَلِمَٰتٖ فَأَتَمَّهُنَّۖ قَالَ إِنِّي جَاعِلُكَ لِلنَّاسِ إِمَامٗاۖ قَالَ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّتِيۖ قَالَ لَا يَنَالُ عَهۡدِي ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ
124. Ir (atminkite), kai Ibrahimo (Abraomo) Viešpats [t. y. Allahas] išbandė jį (tam tikrais) Įsakymais, kuriuos jis įvykdė. Jis (Allahas) tarė (jam): „Iš tiesų, Aš ketinu paskirti tave Imam (vedliu) žmonijai (kad jie sektų tavimi).“ [Ibrahimas] paklausė: „Ir iš mano palikuonių tarpo (paskirti vedliais)?“ (Allahas) tarė: „Mano Pažadas (dėl Pranašavimo) neapima Zalimūn (daugiadievių ir nusidėjėlių).“
