Translation of the meanings
Ayah: (187) Surah: Āl-‘Imrān
وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُواْ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ لَتُبَيِّنُنَّهُۥ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَكۡتُمُونَهُۥ فَنَبَذُوهُ وَرَآءَ ظُهُورِهِمۡ وَٱشۡتَرَوۡاْ بِهِۦ ثَمَنٗا قَلِيلٗاۖ فَبِئۡسَ مَا يَشۡتَرُونَ
187. (Ir atminkite) kai Allahas priėmė pažadą iš tų, kuriems buvo duotas Raštas (judėjų ir krikščionių) padaryti tai (žinias apie Pranašo Muchammedo ﷺ atėjimą ir religines žinias) žinomas ir aiškias žmonijai, o ne slėpti tai, tačiau jie numetė tai už savo nugarų ir nusipirko už tai apgailėtiną naudą! Ir iš tiesų, blogiausia yra tai, ką jie įgijo.
