Swaffaat

Ayah: 1

وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفّٗا
1. Ndayidde ba Malayika abasimbye ennyiriri ennambulukufu.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗا
2. Olwo nno abo abagoba ebire olugoba (bigende bitonnyese enkuba).

Ayah: 3

فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا
3. N'abo abasoma ebigambo ebibuulirira.

Ayah: 4

إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدٞ
4. Mazima Katonda wa mmwe ddala ali omu.

Ayah: 5

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ
5. Mukama omulabirizi we ggulu omusanvu n'ensi n'ebyo ebiri wakati wa byombi era Mukama omulabirizi w'ebuvanjuba (n'e bugwanjuba).

Ayah: 6

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ
6. Mazima ffe twawunda eggulu ly'okunsi n'okulabika obulungi kw'e mmunyeenye (ezirijjudde).

Ayah: 7

وَحِفۡظٗا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ مَّارِدٖ
7. N'okulikuuma ku buli Sitane kyewaggula.

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ
8. Tezisobola kuwuliriza bitonde ebya waggulu era zikanyugirwa ebitawuliro okuva ku buli luuyi.

Ayah: 9

دُحُورٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ وَاصِبٌ
9. Nga zifuumuulwa emisinde era nga zigenda kufuna ebibonerezo ebitakoma.

Ayah: 10

إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞ
10. Okugyako (Sitane) eyo enyakula ekigambo kyeba enyakudde olwo nno neekasukirirwa ekitawuliro ekibumbujja.

Ayah: 11

فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ
11. Kale nno babuuze nti bo be bazibu mu kutonda oba ebyo bye twatonda, mazima ffe (bo) twabatonda mu budongo obukwafu.

Ayah: 12

بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ
12. Wabula gwe weewuunya (ng’okungiriza) ate nga bo bajeeja bujeeja.

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ
13. Era nga bwe baba babuuliriddwa tebeebuulirira.

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ
14. Era bwe balaba akabonero konna (mu bubonero bwa Katonda) nga bajeeja.

Ayah: 15

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ
15. Era nebagamba nti: kino tekiri okugyako eddogo eryeyolefu.

Ayah: 16

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ
16. (Nebongerako nti) bwe tuliba tufudde netufuuka ettaka era netuba magumba ameereere abaffe tulizuukizibwa!.

Ayah: 17

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ
17. Oba ba kitaffe abaakulembera.

Ayah: 18

قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ
18. Gamba nti yee (mulizuukizibwa) nga nammwe mukkakkanyiziddwa.

Ayah: 19

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ
19. Mazima kyo (ekyo kuzuukira) luliba olufuuwa mu ngombe lumu oligenda okulaba nga bo batunula.

Ayah: 20

وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ
20. Era baligamba nti zitusanze luno lwe lunaku lw'okusasulwa.

Ayah: 21

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ
21. (Ba Malayika baligamba nti) luno lwe lunaku lw'okwawula (wakati wa balongoofu n’aboonoonyi) olwo lwe mwali mulimbisa.

Ayah: 22

۞ ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ
22. (Ba Malayika baliragirwa nti) mukungaanye abo abeeyisa obubi wamu n'ababafaanana n'ebyo bye baasinzanga.

Ayah: 23

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ
23. Nebava ku Katonda olwo nno mubalage ekkubo eridda eri omuliro Jahiimu.

Ayah: 24

وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ
24. Era nga (temunnabatwala) mubayimirize (mu bbaliro) mazima bo balina okubuuzibwa.
